The club holds regular events throughout the year that are both fishing and socially based. The social events also provide a great learning environment and excellent opportunities to develop friendships. Refer to the calendar below to see what is planned for this year.
Events held by the club include:
- Monthly meetings at the Union, University & Schools Club, 25 Bent St Sydney, commonly with well-known guest speakers from the fly fishing world
- A members’ summer lunch in January on the NSW central coast or Newcastle
- An annual Oberon landholders’ dinner usually held in March each year in Oberon
- An annual fly-tying and auction night
- Reserved seating at the annual Rise Fly Fishing film festival and other film nights
- Casting days with IFF qualified casting instructors
- Salt water and freshwater fishing trips to local and international locations
